Truthfully, I am not sure if this is new or not. Either way, this was one of my favorite songs off Trouble Andrew’s The Trouble Gang mixtape that dropped last year. The music video has a Cheech and Chong feel. Munchies are all over the place. Unfortunately as the title suggests, they are out of blunts.

It’s been awhile since we have heard from Trouble Andrew. He just released this new music video of his first single “New Kid” off his upcoming mixtape, Dreams of a Troubled Man. I loved his last mixtape, I am sure this one will be even better. He has a sound that is hard to pin down. It is not quite rock, yet almost Nirvana’esque, with slight hip hop and electronic influences here and there. This song leans toward the rock side. Check it out.

I was was curious to hear more of Trouble Andrew after hearing Robotic Pirate Monkey’s remix of Trouble Andrew’s “Take It To The Top” and I found out that they released this dope mixtape title The Trouble Gang a few months ago. The mixtape features an incredible range of collaborators including Lil Jon, Spankrock, Amanda Blank, Santigold, Diplo, John Hill, Stunnaman, Hollywood Holt, Curren$y, Ninjasonik, Jackie Chain and much more. Trouble Andrew’s sound is a mix of rock, electronic and hip hop, which is becoming more and more common and a favorite here at RemixTheVideo. I highly suggest you check out this mixtape as there are some real gems on it. You can stream some of my favorites below. I would say my favorite song of the whole mixtape is the original “Take It To The Top”, which I recommend listening to first. Apologies for the audio files being all sorts of bit rates.. it came that way (I had to redo all the ID3 tags because that was a mess as well).
