Remember Marina and the Diamonds’ song “I Am Not A Robot” that Hoodie Allen infamously sampled in his break out hit “You Are Not A Robot”? Well, Ashes just gave it his own spin with a nasty Drumstep/DnB remix. You really can’t go wrong sampling Marina and the Diamonds, which as been proven already. Ashes does the song justice and gives us bassheads something more fitting to nod our head to.

The video doesn’t contain the second drop of the remix (the Drum and Bass part), so here is the full thing for your enjoyment as well as the download.
You can’t find a better Electro producer than DJ Kue. Put a little Wiz Khalifa in the mix and you got yourself a song that anybody would be hard pressed not to download. You are probably are not even reading this and downloading right now.
DJ B-EZ recently combined Avicii’s “Levels” with YC’s “Racks” to create an oddly suiting club banger. The only thing missing was a visual aspect of it. Enter C.FLO who just released a dope video remix for the mashup.
I am not familiar with Fouls nor Dandy Riots but this video remix of “Spanish Sahara” is truly something else. The effects added to the original video keeps your eyes locked the on the screen while the remix itself will leave you hooked to the song. Dandy Ruits’ synths during the chorus are simply amazing to say the least. The Edinburgh-based producer will soon be releasing his debut EP via Black Sugar Records, so keep your eyes on the lookout for that!
This dude Chase Apollo has straight up came out of no where to produce some of the best remixes I’ve heard lately. His remix of “Look At Me Now” was a huge hit on the site and I couldn’t wait to give you his latest offering, a remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Lights.” Yeah, “Lights” has been over remixed but Chase Apollo has given it a fresh take with some excellent jazzy horns and a poppy rhythm. I guarantee that after one listen you will be hooked on it.
Staying in line with their usual style, The Jane Doze have once again produced a mashup that does more than just squeeze a couple songs together. For this track/video, the duo created a collage of numerous artists that have passed at the iconic and eerie age of 27. Of course, this was all spurred by the recent passing of Amy Winehouse, whom also joined the 27 Club.
The track samples these classics (in order of appearance):
01. Amy Winehouse – Back To Black
02. Rolling Stones – Paint It Black
03. The Doors – Love Me Two Times
04. Jimi Hendrix – If 6 was 9
05. Janis Joplin – Summertime
06. Robert Johnson – Hellhound On My Trail
07. Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit
Even Jean-Michel Basquiat, who is not a musician, makes an appearence at the opening.
Cookin’ Soul always comes correct on his remixes and he must be a fan of RTV since he makes a video for every remix he does. I think I may like this remix more than the original. Oh, snap. Did I just say that?
I remember seeing this guy on PBS way back in the day. His name is Bob Ross, the iconic host of the PBS television show “The Joy Of Painting.” His art show is usually peaceful. Well, that was until ScreenWerks decided to mash his show up with MartyParty’s remix of Wocka Flocka Flame’s “Hard In The Paint.” Such massive bass has never felt so… educational.

I never thought I’d hear such a groovy remix of Chris Brown’s megahit “Look At Me Now” but here it is, right here, right now. Chase Apollo successfully made the song even catchier with a solid Disco-influenced beat. When I first played the song, I immediately stopped what I was doing and knew that I needed to post it right away. Just listen for yourself and you’ll see why.
Benzi & DStar’s official remix of Dev’s “In The Dark” was already hot by itself and it just got hotter. Video magician C.Flo chopped up the original music video of Dev’s “In The Dark” and spruced it up with his signature effects to create a sick visual for Benzi & DStar’s club remix of the song. Check it out. The remix will be available on iTunes soon via Universal/Republic.
