It only took me a few seconds into watching this video to know that I was going to love it and love it I did. “People” is one of those anthems for the world to unite to. If this is your first time hearing about Sintropez, you are not alone. They are a relatively new pop electro band from Paris formed by Will Katrine, who is the producer and lead singer of the band. Will used to produce Hip Hop & Electro music for French artists, so he is far from inexperienced.
Sometimes I like to talk a lot about a specific track, really though, I just like to talk a lot in general. But other times it’s best to just sit back, watch and listen.
You know it’s been a busy, yet awesome, summer when you somehow manage to miss a music video this cool. Especially when it’s from a group of kids that you know personally and love their music.
I stumbled across the video thanks to a friend on Facebook while I was hanging out in a hostel in San Franciso and as soon as the music starts the Italian kid sitting next to me who barely speaks English turns his head around and says “Rolling Stone?”
To which I proudly replied, “Nah, my friends. Come watch.”
The Dirty Names kick off their next tour on Oct. 5th in Cocoa Beach, FL. And it turns out that even if I am 2 months late on this video, I still have a legitimate reason for posting it today because it just won Best Music Video at the Williamsburg International Film Fest.

I listened to this song once and the damn thing wouldn’t get out of my head. I keep finding myself listening to it again and again. I really.. I mean really dig this song. I never thought I would like The-Dream but now I do. He just converted me as a fan. “Long Gone” is just one song off his free album 1977 available for download here.

Kenton Dunson just released the visual for my favorite track off his Creative Destruction 2 album, “Firestarter” featuring Ryan Kellie. The video really brings to life the story told in the song. Shout out to William Bastian II for doing such a good job directing it.
If you have yet to download Kenton’s Creative Destruction 2, get it here now.

The best way to describe this video is Yelawolf meets Gwen Stefani. When I clicked play my first thought was that it must be some weird joke video, but I kept watching. After the seemingly amateur introduction there’s some sort of odd mixed media interlude that will most likely leave you wondering “WTF?”
And then the beat drops. And you get your first glimpse of the blonde Australian. And at this point you’re probably thinking something along the lines of “Okay, I see you blonde chick” or “Great, another video objectifying women and contributing to the downfall of our society.” Either way, you’re probably not ready for what you’re about to hear or see.
