Although it’s not the best track on Mac Miller‘s recent Blue Slide Park, it’s a new Mac video nonetheless.

Here’s one for all you lucky fools embarking on the Holy Ship voyage tomorrow, as you will be seeing this gentleman perform shortly. I truly, truly, envy you. I can’t get this bassline out of my head.

Kenton Dunson just announced that he will be going by Dunson in the future and with it, he dropped this sick freestyle over Drake’s “Lord Knows”. All I got to say is that he killed the beat. Straight murdered it. Before to stay updated on his music and to help him regain his fans on his new Facebook fan page.

I have always been more of a fan of Skrillex’s more melodic parts of his songs than the heavy womps that come with it, so it was nice surprise to hear yh and Hollidayrain take the junk out of his latest single. This Electro-trance remix serves as Hollidayrain’s parting gist to 2011. Big things coming for him in 2012!

Smokey Robotic says goodbye to 2011 with one of my favorite songs off their latest album The Shark & The Helicopter LP. Been waiting for a video for this song for awhile now and it is finally here. Trust me when I say that you will be hooked on this song at first listen.

I meant to post this video the second it got released, but I don’t know really, I just didn’t. Silly, I know, because it’s pretty awesome. And what’s even better is that I was able to check out the premier of it in person.
It wasn’t some extravagant mainstream opening or anything, actually it was in a tiny little garage space in the back of boutique in downtown San Jose and it was fairly humble overall (even the songstress’ parents were there just chillin’). But hey, I’ve never been to a music video premier before and by my account this one was pretty dope.
The night opened with Vida Killz & Rey Resurrection before we were treated to the unveiling of “Gone Baby Gone,” which was projected on to the inside of the garage’s wall. The environment was pretty much a perfect match to the video’s old school aesthetic and the intro started things off with plenty of anticipation. It only got better from there, and really, the only disappointing thing was how short the video was.
But it was all good, because right after it was done, we were all treated to Anya‘s live set which she kicked off with a soulful Amy Whinehouse cover. Yeah, I can’t really think of a better way to have spent my saturday night than watching a beautiful girl sing beautiful songs.
BONUS: Vida Killz (who trades cameos with Anya in their respective videos) recently released two new videos. And Rey Res released his newest collab with San Jose’s own 80′s Babies recently as well.

Eargasm. This remix of The Weeknd’s “D.D.” (a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana”) is a must download. Comes courtesy of Denver’s own Samples.

Amazing remix from Brooklyn’s D.V.S* of The Doors’ “The End”. Interesting quote in the beginning of it too..

Here goes The Weeknd’s third mixtape of 2011 entitled Echoes of Silence. I would say this one is on par with their debut and has been on repeat for days. A must download, especially considering his amazing cover of Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana”.

PropaneLV goes over Childish Gambino’s “Heart Beat” with his own rendition titled “Heart Break”. What do you all think? Better than the original?
