Mick Boogie’s just released his latest mixtape titled The Race, inspired by EA’s new video game “Need for Speed: The Run” and Mick’s own experience traveling back to New York, after headlining a series of launch parties that EA Games planned in conjunction with the game. The mixtape includes songs by The Roots, Common, The Black Keys, Gnarles Barkley, Rolling Stones, Silver Medallion, & many others. Whether you are racing in a video game or in real life, this is the mix for you!
Ummm.. yeah.. love disco. Love this. Thanks Punk Rock Kick.
“We go super 80`s NYC crazy and pay homage to the tactile, fun (and eventually plastic) side of 80s technology. Back then a imaging process called `scanimate` was popular – which is kind of like a bridge between the analogue world and the digital domain. Being a kid at the time, I`ve always liked how it looked – it gave TV of the time more warm, fuzzy feel compared to later developments of the decade where graphics became more angular, bold and smooth .. the more corporate look was in and 70`s technology was out.” – Punk Rock Kick

RemixTheVideo presents Silver Medallion’s Fashion Week DJ Mix titled Scene Kids Don’t Go To Fashion Week, We Light Cars on Fire to Dead Kennedy’s Songs. The mix features some previously featured songs and remixes from Dave Edwards and Edwin Van Cleef here on RTV as well as many more quality jams.
Silver Medallion will be DJing this set tonight at the Sherri Hill runway show afterparty with Kendall Jenner and Kim/Kourtney Kardashian, which is ironic given that he will be playing Grace Jones in that kind of situation. Whether you will partaking in New York City’s Fashion Week or just looking for a great time, download this mix and blast it throughout the week and weekend. You won’t be disappointed.
In honor of Bassnectar‘s fall tour, Lorin has blessed us with what he is calling a “Remixtape”… which in Basshead language, means 30 straight minutes of uninteruppted womp-gasm. The tracks range from remixes, to mashes, to unreleased content.
Regardless of your feelings towards Bassnectar, this mix deserves a listen; there’s a little bit of everything in it. The best part is, you can get the whole thing for free by providing your email to the Bassnectar squad via the widget below.

Tommie Sunshine is the man. He consistently delivers some of the hottest mixes around. This mix in particular just might be my favorite mix he’s made yet. I say that because Tommie went way underground on this one. If you know what’s what in music, you’ll know these songs, and you will appreciate the absence of songs that a majority of the general population would recognize. From Savage Skulls to Edwin Van Cleef, you will hear the folks you should be hearing, all thanks to Mr. Sunshine. Kudos good sir.
