Never thought I hear a Skrillex cover using Xylophones (Marimba, Cajon, whatever it is) but given the internet’s track record, I should never have doubted it. Thank you Coop3r Cov3rs. Careful, don’t go blowing out your speakers playing this banger.
In preparation for his upcoming LP, titled The Weird Circle, Liam Dirlam, the man behind Voodoo Farm, is giving out the LP’s first single for free.
The LP and this single are both a departure from Voodoo’s previous releases, which have been mostly remixes and mashes. According to Liam, the new LP will be completely original, and will feature a great deal of live instrumentals too.
If the rest of his LP sounds like this, Liam will be in good shape. The Weird Circle will drops early March.
It has been a minute since we last got our hands on a new Tune In Crew remix and their latest one was definitely worth the wait. Taking on Rihanna’s single ‘You Da One”, they rework the single into a complete club banger. I would even say it is better than the original.
What do I love more than disco? Nothing. Well, maybe house. But it’s close, and that’s what matters.
In a slight departure from his hard-hitting norm, Le Castle Vania has released an epic disco track. Like most things he makes, it’s naturally awesome. I wish more artists dabbled in disco these days…
The original “Gobstopper” wasn’t really that great of a track, but, it BEGGED for a heavy dub remix. Well, lucky for us, Figure just delivered that remix, and delivered it in an epic fashion. Take a listen and judge for yourself.
You can get this song and more on the recently released (and free) Reckless Wobbles mixtape hosted by DJ E-V and Benzi.
Love me a Beatles remix… especially one as heavy as this; Voodoo Farm really pulled out all the stops on this one. Thanks to a heavy dose of dub, “A Day In The Life” is now a different track altogether.
Silver Medallion enlists Dunson (formerly known as Kenton Dunson) on his latest single “Trainwreck”. The song is hybrid of R&B and Dubstep that is sure to turn heads. Read what Silver Medallion had to say about the song below.
“Trainwreck is a saga of New York City bars, a story of people too in love with themselves to see past the whiskey glasses. I feel the sounds of the beat replicate the darkness and intensity of that yearning party night, when you’re looking in a girls eyes and don’t see anything there, when you’re walkin in the cold spinning drunk, when you wake up wondering why you’re life is the way it is.” – Silver Medallion
Here goes Hollidayrain’s big release, which he has been hyping for a bit now. As expected, the track is a banger and in HR’s signature fashion, melodic at parts too. Check it out and pick it up on Beatport if you like it.
