Never thought I hear a Skrillex cover using Xylophones (Marimba, Cajon, whatever it is) but given the internet’s track record, I should never have doubted it. Thank you Coop3r Cov3rs. Careful, don’t go blowing out your speakers playing this banger.
Fusing elements of Pop, R&B and Hip Hop, Leonard Friend comes with a sound that is somewhat reminiscent of times past with a modern edge. You can say it is a mix of Michael Jackson, Prince with The Neptunes, Pete Rock and The RZA. The end result is not only catchy but incredibly good music. Take a listen and download the project below.
Smokey Robotic takes their recent collaboration with Redman and transforms it into a more upbeat tune. Like the original, the remix comes courtesy of SR’s Konrad OldMoney and !llmind. Grab it below.
Jared Evan is back with a brand new banger off his highly anticipated project The 4th Chapter. !llmind gave a preview of this track at one of his recent BLAPS events and I knew it was a banger then. I’m glad I can finally add it to my music library.
In preparation for his upcoming LP, titled The Weird Circle, Liam Dirlam, the man behind Voodoo Farm, is giving out the LP’s first single for free.
The LP and this single are both a departure from Voodoo’s previous releases, which have been mostly remixes and mashes. According to Liam, the new LP will be completely original, and will feature a great deal of live instrumentals too.
If the rest of his LP sounds like this, Liam will be in good shape. The Weird Circle will drops early March.
Brand new visuals from Mike Stud of one of the more emotional tracks off his album/mixtape A Toast To Tommy. I am sure you or know someone who can relate to one of the stories told in the video. Mike does a great job on this track and I hope to hear more story-type songs from him in the future. Grab this track and more at AToastToTommy.com to download the mixtape.
New e-dubble entitled “Grey Skies” produced by Villain, better known as Billy Martin of Good Charlotte. This won’t be the last time you hear these two come together. Expect a EP from them in the very near future..
It has been a minute since we last got our hands on a new Tune In Crew remix and their latest one was definitely worth the wait. Taking on Rihanna’s single ‘You Da One”, they rework the single into a complete club banger. I would even say it is better than the original.
