What’s more appropriate for Halloween night than dubstep? NOTHING.

Here’s a heavy little dub tune inspired by John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape From New York), and produced by Proper Villains.

It’s almost like I don’t even need to listen to the song to know that I am going post DJ Kue’s latest. His remixes never disappoint no mater who he is remixing.

Even though there is the original version of “Good Feeling” where Flo Rida actually did go over Avicii’s “Levels” floating out there, Tass decided to combine the new version of “Good Feeling” with Avicii’s “Levels”. As expected, the result is amazing.

We here at RTV love Florence + The Machine and especially the remixes of their songs. Florence Welch has an incredibly strong and beautiful voice that fits very well with many music genres. This makes them easily a “victim” for them to be remixed, and this time it is their new single “Shake It Out” that is at stake. For the official remixes they unlisted The Weeknd and the one and only Benny Benassi to produce them.

“Shake It Out” is the second single from their second album “Ceremonials”. The original song is very down tempo as their songs usually are but builds its way up with a strong chorus that helps the rest of the song rise and become more powerful.

The Weeknd’s remix is much more gloomy and dark in its expression than the original and Benny’s remix, which makes sense if you listen to the lyrics:

“Regrets collect like old friends
Here to relive your darkest moments
I can see no way, I can see no way
And all of the ghouls come out to play”

Listen: Florence + The Machine – Shake It Out (The Weeknd Remix)

The last remix is from Benny Benassi and unlike The Weeknd’s remix, it has a positive feeling to it. He used Florence’s vocals to its fullest and gives her space when she is singing. I must admit that this is my favorite but hey that’s just my opinion.

Never thought I would hear Gym Class Heroes’ “Stereo Hearts” be turned into such a banger but leave it up to Bombs Away & KOMES to do just that. Apparently, they “smashed this one together with a potato and a sack of wobbly lumps.” Whatever that means, I’m loving the the end result.
