Well, I can’t think of a better way to start my Thursday.
In anticipation of his upcoming mixtape Leap Year, which drops on July 26, Hoodie Allen has blessed us with a new single and accompanying video.
The track is called “The Chase Is On”, and it rocks. To boot, the video is equally dope. Of course, maybe that’s because Sofia Black D’Elia (from MTV’s Skins) co-stars in it. In Hoodie’s own words:
“She alone makes the video worth watching…but like the song is also really good so that’s cool too.” – Hoodie Allen
Don’t let him undersell it. It’s an epic track, and if it’s any indication of what Leap Year will sound like, I predict we are all in for quite a treat.
