Play-N-Skillz might be one of the most famous artists you never heard of. This Grammy award winning duo is stepping out from behind the boards to make their own music. You have heard their production on Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’” as well as Lil Wayne’s “Got Money,” so you know their production is top notch. Their song writing ability also just so happens to have Top 40 written all over it.
Take “She Goes On” for example, a reinterpolation of Billy Joel’s “Uptown.” This urban rendition of the song is one of the more catchier songs I’ve heard lately. You can never go wrong remaking a classic. “She Goes On” is the second cut off their upcoming Fireworks project dropping July 4th, which is sure to be dope.

“Survivor” is another cut off their upcoming project. With electronic and pop elements, this song is another heater off their upcoming project. The production is top notch as to be expected and the chorus is way chill. This is a nice summer time track perfect for a sunny day.
