Hollidayrain is only 19, yet has been making a huge splash in the electronic scene as of late and for a good reason. With now a decade of experience under his belt, he has already accomplished many feets including charting Sirius BPM (with his remix of 3OH!3′s “My First Kiss” featured below), placing #1 six different times on OurStage.com and becoming a finalist, if not winning, in numerous other competitions. He has experience producing songs from just about every electronic sub-genre and seems to be able to turn anything he touches into gold. Did I mention he is also pursuing a degree mechanical engineering all while producing some of the hottest tracks to hit the electronic scene? That’s some superhuman gifts right there.
The first track I wanted to introduce you to is “LAG”, a wild electro house track. Hollidayrain states that “the Break-to-Drop ratio on this is bigger than the Guy-to-Girl ratio in my engineering classes.” Not to mention, it is full of beautiful melodies complimented by hard hitting bass lines.

“Subconcious” is a fast paced trance track that is a journey in itself to listen to. The song hits real hard and even has a nice classical break in the middle of it.

“In Your Eyes” takes Hollidayrain into Trance territory with one of my favorites from him. Featuring vocals from Aswin Rajkumar, he reinvents his original progressive house track with the help of Traxx Project. You can hear the original here.

And now to remixes.. The first one I wanted to highlight is a remix of Martin Solveig’s ever popular single “Hello” that will give you a new appreciation for House music. He made this remix for Martin Solveig’s remix competition and started it one and a half hours before it was due. Surprisingly, he was able to get the remix in the competition. Mad skillz.

Hollidayrain also recently remixed BT’s “The Emergenvy” taking the track in a groovy progressive breaks territory with a lot of progressive house influences. This one is not too hard but not too soft.

Sometime last year, Hollidayrain took the time to remix 3OH!3′s entire Want album. He really did a number on the album and made it even better. His remixes of “Punk Bitch”, “Don’t Trust Me”, and “Starstruck” are not to be slept on. Trust me or don’t trust me. Your loss really.
