Not going to lie, I’ve been trying to bring disco back. That, the eighties, and to bring 2021′s music to 2011. I know, I should probably stick to only one mission but, hey, I’m ambitious.
Luckily, there are many talented artists helping me do so such as LUST. With a mixture of drag and disco, he recently flipped Flashlights’ “New Hampshire” into what he describes as “Daft Punk on Quaalades.” According to Wikipedia, songs such as this can cause “euphoria, drowsiness, reduced heart rate, reduced respiration, increased sexual arousal (aphrodisia), and paresthesias (numbness of the fingers and toes).” I read it on the internet, so it must be true.
The original “New Hampshire” is off Flashlights’ Hidden Behind The Tress EP, which I must say is pretty awesome. You can listen to the whole EP on their Bandcamp. Prepare yourself for some Dream Pop goodness.
