I am so glad to be getting all this new music from Moby these days. “The Day” will be a single off of his upcoming album Destroyed, slated for release on May 16th.
According to Moby’s website, the track should have been available in advance on iTunes two days ago, but I don’t see any sign of it. Nonetheless, the website also states that the official release for the single will be on May 9th in EP form with accompanying remixes from Lifelike, Basto, Gesaffelstein, Eddie Thoneick, and Funkerman.
Overall, “The Day” is a very gorgeous song, and one of the few that Moby will sing on in his upcoming album.
