You can say all you want about Michael Bay screwing up the last one, I am still going to see this just to see some Autobots face off against some Decepticons. I don’t know about you but that’s all I really wanted from the movie and looks like I will be getting more of it.
Unfortunately, this is set to be the last and final movie in the fanchise but given Hollywood’s track record, I doubt they will let such a revenue maker end so easily. Judging by the trailer, this movie will be even more action packed than the last one. Another win for me.

Question: What the hell is that giant octopus-like monster that takes down that skyscraper?
Been listening to Grieves for awhile now and it has been impressive to see him grow as an artist. He is soon to release his Rhymesayer debut, Together/Apart, on June 21st, so expect to see much more him with the such a strong label behind him.
In “Bloogy Poetry,” Grieves starts off rapping over a piano loop that soon bursts into jazzy horns and some slight electro splashed in there. With such a strong start to the album, you know I will be looking forward its release.
To make up for the lack of a Throwback Thursdays post this week, here is my favorite Grieves track off his first album, Irreversible. The song shows the talent Grieves had from the very beginning. It was clear to me all the way back in 2007 that big things were in store from him.
TALWST, formerly known as Curtis Santiago, has been quiet for some time. From what I know, he has been focusing on his art (he created the air piece above) but now he is back to releasing music under a new alias. The rebranding also comes with a new direction with his music as is evident from this latest release from him. The chorus repeats the typical relationship cycle with a hypnotic beat courtesy of ILLANGELO. I am interested to hear what else TALWST has in the works as this is a very different sound than what I have heard from Curtis in the past.
“This song is my truth. It was a one take freestyle. I had just gotten off the phone with my girl at the time she let me know she missed her flight to come meet me over some bull shit, after she had asked me to stay a extra day in Calgary. Illangelo started fucking around with the tuning of the piano and we just looked at each and knew we had a hit this was the first song we wrote together. The rest is history. – TALWST”
Remember how awesome the first X-Men movie was? And remember how X2 turned out to be even better than the original? That was nice. It was really a shame that Bryan Singer didn’t continue making the X-Men movies because X-Men 3: The Last Stand and the X-Men Origins: Wolverine really sucked to say the least.
Luckily, Bryan Singer will have a role in producing X-Men: First Class, even though it is more limited. With Singer as a producer and co-screenwriter, this movie will hopefully turn out as good as the first two. Judging by the trailers, that just might happen.
Strong visuals to a song with a strong message. Still peeved that Lupe Fiasco says he doesn’t vote. Complain all you want but you sure aren’t helping change anything. The least you can do is actually vote. Voting in the primaries is even more effective. If you really want to get gully, donate or perform fundraiser concerts for a candidate you actually believe in. Come on.
This guy is bald, not the best singer and has some of the best looking ladies I have seen in a music video dancing all around him. To make matters worse, all he is singing is “that the Tropicana are free.” Ladies, I can buy you all the Tropicana drinks you need. Really, I can. If all it takes is some 100% pure and natural orange juice for us to have our very own private pool party, I will run to the grocery store quicker than you can say “I want orange juice.”
..and you think I’m kidding. I’ll just leave a link to my Twitter right here. You know what to do next.
Probably the single greatest thing to come out of Afghanistan since this video. The 266 Rein Marines bust out their moves in their own music video rendition of Britney Spears’ “Hold It Against Me.” Saying this video is “winning” or “bi-winning” is an understatement.
Britney’s original video is now irrelevant, she should probably scrap it altogether and replace it with this one. Who else agrees?
Jed7 suggested in the Shoutbox that we get some Jakwob up on RTV, so I followed Jakwob on his Soundcloud and a few hours later, he drops this beauty. There is really no other adjective to describe this song. It’s beautiful.
With only a tad bit of dubstep mixed in this, I would be hard-pressed to call it a dubstep track. It really transcends genres, which is why I like it so much. I’m not a fan of the huge womps and Jakwob found the perfect balance using them with “Right Beside You”. I also love the middle eastern strings thrown in the track.
“Right Beside You” is set to be released on June 20th.

On the Slim Shady LP, there was a track titled “Bad Meets Evil” between Nickel Nine and Slim Shady. What seemed to be the beginning of what looked to be a promising partnership quickly disintegrated when Royce had a falling out between D12 and Eminem, which you can read more about here.
Ten years later, Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ have resolved their issues and now we finally get to see them produce an album together. The upcoming project will be titled Bad Meets Evil, the same name as their first joint together. “Fast Lane” is the first track to be leaked off the project and is as dope as you would expect. Produced by Supa Dups & Eminem and both rapper come correct on it. Sure, this project is about ten years late but I’m still just as excited for it. Based on the quality of “Fast Lane,” we should be expecting a very dope release from the two to drop this Summer.
Bad Meets Evil is expected to drop June 14th.

I never made it past the fifth Harry Potter book, so watching these last few movies has been really exciting. This last one should be epic. Don’t spoil anything for me!
