This is not the usual style we post here at RTV but the visuals alone make posting this necessary. In fact, this is probably the first time we have posted a folk and blues artist. The Audrey’s are a duo from Adelaide, South Australia who have been making waves since their formation in 2004. This latest single “Sometimes the Stars” debuted at #28 on the ARIA charts and this video will probably propel the song to further greatness. The music video is incredible and reminds me of a Gorillaz video but with a completely different soundtrack. With tests coming around the corner, an easy listening song such as this is just what the doctor ordered. Check this out and read more about the video below.
“Sometimes the Stars” is a gorgeous new song from Adelaide band The Audreys, taken from their 2010 album of the same name. The accompanying short animated film, produced by Luke Jurevicius and directed by Ari Gibson & Jason Pamment, is about a lost girl’s journey through a surreal landscape, and her yearning to make a connection in this distant yet strangely familiar world.
