Curtis Santiago describes himself as 1/2 Prince and 1/2 Fresh Prince. He released his Have Mercy mixtape in April 2009 but I only just got introduced to it yesterday. Now, I don’t normally post music this old but I am making an exception for this mixtape because I know there are many people like myself who missed it when it first came out. The majority of the mixtape features Curtis Santiago covering songs by a diverse range of artists from T.I. to Tegan & Sara to Kid Cudi. It also features some of his original songs such as “Southbeach” and “Annabel” (the music video for which is featured above). This mixtape is a highly recommended, so be sure to download it.
