News alert! Kanye West is back! Check out his newest single that will featured on his upcoming new album Good Ass Job due out in September this year. ‘Power’ is produced by S1 of the Strange Fruit Project. S1 (a.k.a. Symbolic One) also produced Braille’s entire Cloud Nineteen album. If you don’t know who Braille is, I will upload his first album for download and my favorite tracks by him when I get the chance. Been a fan of his for more than 5 years but I digress..

The track was originally intended for Rhymefest but he passed it on to Mr. West as S1 explains below. “One day Rhymefest told me to send him a few beats over and he will try to play a few for Kanye,” S1 told HipHopDX.com. “…a couple weeks later I received a text from ‘Fest saying, Kanye is loving your stuff, He said he’s about to change your life. Two days later I was on a flight to Hawaii to meet Mr. West. The rest is pretty much history.”

Update:
Kanye’s new single is now available on iTunes! Go purchase!

In anticipation of the band’s debut record, It’ll Be Better (Cantora Records, July 20th), Francis and the Lights have released the world’s first HTML5 embeddable album, specifically designed for you lucky few that own an iPad and the brand new iOS4. This allows you to stream the record, watch the video for “Darling, It’s Alright”, and download tracks directly from iTunes with nothing more than your fingertips. You can find this embeddable album at itllbebetter.com but for those normal people you can stream the entire album right here.

Along with their debut album, Francis and the Lights also wrote and produced a song for Drake’s recently released debut album, Thank Me Later. The track is titled “Karaoke.” Drake personally requested a beat from them, and being a true fan, Francis decided to make use of a special song he had been saving. Francis recorded and arranged it in one night and sent it over with the message, “do whatever is best for the song.” Check it out below.

Fyi, I love Zeds Dead. These tracks came out a while ago and they are awesome. The “Eyes on Fire” remix is a little bit old but worthy of a repost. The “Gimme Shelter” remix came out last month, but I missed it because I was out of town for 30 days straight haha. Check them both out if you haven’t bumped them to the point of no return already… I know I’m still loving them.

I have had this track for almost a month now and have no clue why I never posted it. My apologies folks. This sick remix of The Beatles’ Eleanor Rigby is by 4Centers, one half of the duo known as Love And Light who hail from Reno, NV. Check out their Soundcloud page for more of their music.
